Dr Noor Ahmed
Principal Doctor Director

Dr. Noor Ahmed, a graduate of Nishter Medical University in 1990, has extensive experience in general surgery, emergency medicine, and paediatrics, having trained and worked in Ireland's major hospitals before moving to Australia in 2012. In Australia, he has focused on skin cancer management, preventive medicine, and holistic care for chronic diseases, paediatrics, and musculoskeletal diseases, currently practicing at Braidwood Medical Practice and managing the Emergency Department and Residential Age Care Facility at Braidwood Multipurpose Services.

Dr Lisa Buckley
General Practitioner 

Dr. Buckley is a compassionate GP with a strong background in General Practice, emphasizing patient wellbeing and health goals. With a sincere, direct approach and extensive healthcare system knowledge, she provides personalized care, particularly advocating for women's health and mental issues. Her experience includes hospital training in Australia and the UK, surgical training, and a General Practice Fellowship in Sydney. Dr. Buckley, who completed the Sydney Child Health Program in 2017, specializes in Women’s Health, Mental and Adolescent Mental Health, Paediatrics, Chronic Care, and Aged Care Medicine.

Dr Anthony Gadenne 
MD, BSc Paramedical science

Location experience – Indonesia, Afghanistan, East Timor, Kuwait, Japan, New Zealand, Nepal, Papa New Guinea, and Bangladesh. 
 

Dr Anthony Gadenne recently moved to the region from Western Australia, where he studied at Notre Dame, Fremantle. His prior experience includes working in remote areas with the Australian defence force and around the world as a volunteer health worker. 

He has an interest in critical care, mental health, and the well-being of military personnel and frontline responders. 

 

Outside of his medical career, Dr Gadenne enjoys spending quality time with his family. His love for hiking, shared with his wife and son, and consistent training in CrossFit with his wife, highlights his commitment to a balanced and active lifestyle.

Ainslie Ernst
Practice Nurse

Ainslie is a registered nurse with 15 years of experience, she has worked in many different settings including intensive care, rural hospitals and special care nursery. She now enjoys working as a practice nurse, especially the ongoing relationship that is formed with her patients and community, and the variety of the work. Ainslie has a special interest in diabetes management and health education.

Director, Practice Operations Manager

Natalie, with over 20 years in the Braidwood area, has extensive experience with NDIS, My Aged Care, and Carer Organisations in ACT and SE NSW, and began her journey at Braidwood Medical Centre in January 2022. Now a Director and Practice Operations Manager, she is committed to prioritising the region's healthcare needs, further bolstered by her completion of a Certificate IV in Medical Practice Assisting.

Director, Practice Manager

Cheryl made her tree change to Braidwood in September 2021. She brings a strong medical administrative background having worked at The Royal Melbourne Hospital for many years. Prior to that, she worked at Sunshine Hospital dealing with health information for seven years. Cheryl is very happy to be part of Braidwood Medical Centre and be involved in the health needs of this wonderful community.

Lisi Williams
Receptionist

Lisi moved to the Braidwood area in September 2021 and now lives on a small farm with her 2 children. She enjoys teaching German baking classes and spending time outside in the garden and with the animals. Previously, Lisi worked in financial services for 8 years and is now happy to be part of the team at the Braidwood Medical Centre and helping the community.

Bronwyn Brown
Senior Receptionist

Bronwyn moved to Braidwood 4 years ago with her partner and 2 children from the south coast. Bronwyn started working at Braidwood Medical Centre in 2019. Bronwyn previously worked as a receptionist/functions coordinator at a Hotel/Motel for 11 years. Bronwyn has loved the challenge of learning something new every day and working with amazing Doctors, Nurses and Staff. Bronwyn really enjoys working at Braidwood Medical Centre as she feels she is able to help the local community with their needs. It also helped her get to know people here in this beautiful town.
