Our Fees
Fee information
At Braidwood Medical Centre, various billing policies are in place for different types of appointments and services. Bulk billing is available for eligible valid Australian Concession card holders, children under 16, seniors over 80.
We are only providing Workers Compensation services to current cases and will not be taking new claims.
The centre provides flexible appointment scheduling, including urgent and non-urgent care, with a policy to accommodate children on the same day for serious concerns. Interpreter services are available for diverse patient needs. Repeat prescriptions can be requested for a fee, and test results are communicated as per doctor-patient discussions.
The centre emphasizes preventative care with reminder notices. A non-attendance fee is charged for missed appointments or cancellations without adequate notice.
Vaccination and procedural fees vary, please check with your Doctor or reception staff.
Employment and insurance medical assessments are privately billed based on complexity. Patients can access their records, with charges for processing requests.
The centre's fees, lower than the AMA-recommended schedule, reflect the high costs of rural healthcare and aim to ensure quality care and accessibility.
Payments are due at consultation with various methods accepted, including direct Medicare rebate processing. The fee schedule includes various consultation levels with details of Medicare rebates and out-of-pocket costs.
